The following table lists the 18 participating groups and all runs submitted for the various tasks.
The following pages list the results for 2 of the 3 ImageCLEF tasks: the ad-hoc task using the St. Andrews image collection and the medical retrieval task using the CasImage collection.
The tables contain the following information for the submitted runs: • The name of the participating group. • The identifier of the submitted run. • The score obtained in Mean average precision (MAP). • The score as a percentage of monolingual retrieval. • The rank of the run among all submitted runs. • A distinction whether the run was automatic or using any manual interaction (type). • The query language (in the ad-hoc hoc task). • An indication whether automatic query expansion was used (QE). • An indication whether the system used visual information. • An indication whether a system used textual information. • Use of topic title for query (in the ad-hoc hoc task). • Use of topic narrative for query (in the ad-hoc hoc task).
