All submissions for the Poster and Demonstration session were reviewed by the program committees and four papers were accepted. In addition, six papers submitted to the regular technical sessions were recommended by the program committees to the Poster and Demonstration session. In total, ten papers are included in the proceedings. We believe that this Poster and Demonstration session provides a great opportunity for researchers to present and to receive direct feedback from audience about the ongoing significant work. We are grateful to the authors of the papers, program committee members, and JIST 2014 local organizers for their effort to make this happen.
