It was a great pleasure for us to organize FIRE 2015 for the 7th time. Started in 2008 FIRE community is still growing and by now it is regarded as the most important Information Retrieval Evaluation Forum in South Asia.

We saw a good participation with 26 teams participating across these five tracks. A big Thank you to the track organizers and to the research groups who have taken part in these tasks. It is because of you that FIRE has made an impact in the scientific community. We wish to continue this endeavour and we will be very happy if the data and experiments reported in FIRE turnout to be useful to the information access research community worldwide.
