International Workshop on Set Visualization and Reasoning 2016 Preface The International Workshop on Set Visualization and Reasoning (previously called the Euler Diagrams Workshop) aims to bring together researchers in the field. The community publishes in a diverse range of outlets, hence a single workshop provides a unique opportunity to share ideas and practice. The topics of the workshop includes established set representations like Euler/Venn diagrams and matrices as well as new formalisms, such as linear diagrams and line- sets. The workshop scope covers methods for laying out, reasoning with and evalu- ating set visualizations.
