      <abstract>
        <p>The Workshop on Methodologies for Learning Analytics convened methodology-focused researchers with an interest in methodology and its rigorous application and development to the field of learning analytics. The volume incudes two submitted papers and an editorial discussing issues arising for researchers in the middle space between learning and analytics: The Workshop on Building the Learning Analytics Curriculum focused on impact of learning analytics curricula and formal teaching on the field of learning analytics. The volume includes an editorial and three submitted papers: Acknowledgements: Thanks to all those who submitted papers to the workshops, agreed to review submitted papers, and contributed to workshop discussions on the day. We also acknowledge the publisher CEUR-WS which greatly aided the publication of this volume.</p>
