BPM 2017 is the 15th conference on Business Process Man- agement (BPM), held in Barcelona in September 2017. This volume in- cludes the proceedings of the Industry Track of the conference, featuring 12 contribution from different industry players in the field of BPM, dis- cussing tools, experiences and use cases. Keywords: BPM, Industry, Experiences, Lessons Learnt, Business Pro- cess, Tools, Enterprise Architecture. Preface BPM 2017 is the 15th conference in a series that provides the most prestigious forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of Business Process Manage- ment (BPM). While the scientific conference tracks focused on talks, tutorials and discussions on the foundational aspects of BPM and featured talks by aca- demics, thought leaders, and innovators in the field, a set of dedicated tracks were devoted to specific aspects and perspectives, so as to serve as a melting pot for experts from a mix of disciplines including Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Services Science, and Technology Management. In particular, the conference also featured a specific Industry Track, which has been paramount to establish and preserve the tight connection between research and industrial adoption in the field of BPM: indeed, differently from other disciplines, BPM has a strong grip on the enterprise ecosystem and has been widely adopted and accepted in every kind of organizations, spanning large companies, small and medium businesses, and public administrations. As chairs of the BPM 2017 Industry Track we are proud to present the track proceedings, which aggregate and publish the main contributions presented as industrial speeches during the conference. The contributions testify that the connections with the industry are live and tight: on one side, enterprises are continuously facing new organizational and productivity challenges which can be addressed by the BPM researchers; and on the other side the BPM research work can stimulate the companies towards continuous improvement of their practices and technologies. We are convinced that, especially today, this virtuous relation between re- search and industry can promote continuous innovation, fostered by the opportu- nities offered by the big data revolution and the more and more interdisciplinary nature of BPM. Indeed, in recent years, BPM has transcended its original scope at the intersection of information technology, organizational management and industrial engineering, to embrace other disciplines such as behavioral science, big data, operations management, social computing, cloud computing, theory of processes and many more. Organizations were invited to submit their experiences, business cases, tools, and solutions, and have been offered the opportunity of presenting them to an international audience, showcasing the latest initiatives and exchanging experi- ences and networking among BPM experts around the world. The result has been a very lively and interesting set of sessions, where a diverse set of contributions have been presented. The track featured a set of 12 contributions, whose papers are integrated in this proceedings volume. The con- tributions also stirred a very inspiring level of discussions, Q&A and interactions among the participants, which demonstrates how BPM research contributions can provide relevant value to present and future industrial challenges.
