The International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE’18) held at Constantine 2– Abdelhamid Mehri University, in December 01 – 02, 2018 includes special sessions on specific advanced aspects of the theory, design, applications and tools related to software engineering. It provides a forum for academic researchers and practitioners to discuss recent progress in the area of Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering. Furthermore, we expect that the conference and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this relevant subject.
Beyond its technical and scientific goals, another main purpose of ICAASE’18 is to promote collaboration between participants in research and education in the area of computer science and engineering.

Message from the Chairs We cheerfully welcome you to ICAASE’18, the International Conference on the Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering, December 01-02, 2018 in Constantine, Algeria.
We have worked to put a program that has broad appeal to researchers, industrial practitioners, students, and educators in the field of software engineering.
On behalf of the entire Organizing Committee, it is our distinct pleasure to invite you to participate, not just in the official program of the conference and its various related activities, but also in enjoying the beautiful history, customs, and surroundings of the city and people of Constantine. Constantine is the capital of the eastern part of Algeria. Known for its rich history and culture with monuments, mosques, temples and a precious and varied heritage in arts and crafts; this more than 2000-years city sees the traditional and the modern co-existing in perfect harmony. Constantine is called the city of Scholars and Science.
Similar to the city, ICAASE too is a mixture of the old and the new: old topics of the software engineering continue to be worked; yet new topics emerged all the times.
The ICAASE 2018 Program Committee selected papers for publication in the proceedings and presentation at the Conference based upon a rigorous review process of the full papers. The acceptance rate for all paper categories 42 %. This year, authors from seven countries have submitted papers to the conference. We are very grateful for the outstanding efforts provided by the Program Committee. The Program Committee members and reviewers provided excellent support in promptly reviewing the manuscripts. We are grateful to the authors and sessions chairs for their time and efforts to make ICAASE 2018 a success.
ICAASE’2018 has six tracks with: Modern Software Systems Life cycle , Software Repositories, Emerging Software Systems, Software Evaluation , Formal Methods in Software Engineering , Practical Aspects of Software Engineering. ICAASE’ 2018 features two plenary keynotes, by Pr Erich Neuhold (Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Vienna), and Pr Allel HADJALI (Professor in Computer Science at the National Engineering School for Mechanics and Aerotechnics (ISAE-ENSMA),
