These proceedings contain the papers accepted for the main program at the
10th Majorov International Conference on Software Engineering and Computer
Systems (MICSECS 2018). The conference was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia,
during 20-21th December 2018. The conference is named after an outstanding
scientist Sergei Majorov. He was the head of the Computer Engineering
Department (1962 - 1986) and vice-chancellor for research at ITMO University
(since 1962 to 1977) in Leningrad. Sergei Majorov was founder of the scienti c
and pedagogical school Organization of computing systems and networks and
created the computational center at ITMO University and the department of
automated information systems of the higher school. He tirelessly worked on
improving all forms of the educational process and sought to bring innovations
in Computer Science. MICSECS 2018 features a peer-reviewing process in which
every paper was reviewed in a rigorous but constructive way by three members
of the Program Committee (PC), supported by EasyChair. We received a total
of more then 100 submissions. The strict reviewing policies resulted in the
acceptance of 13 full research papers. This translates into an acceptance rate of 12 %.
An additional 11 papers (10 %) were accepted for short presentation and have
also been given space in these proceedings. Established researchers and industry
representatives were invited for keynote presentations at MICSECS 2018. We
are grateful to the keynote speakers for their insightful talks. The program also
included posters and position paper presentations to help attendees, especially
younger researchers, to discuss preliminary ideas and promising PhD topics. We
would like to express our gratitude to various people who made MICSECS 2018
possible.
