All seven proposals received feedback from the Jury and six proposals were selected to be discussed at the doctoral consortium and on Sunday June 23 2019, the six PhD researchers gathered to discuss their research proposals with the process mining community. The community was represented by a large number of attendees. Over 30 researchers helped in the discussion. Each candidate was given fteen minutes on a whiteboard to explain their research ideas and pose questions to the community. Over lunch, these questions were bundled into a coherent picture by the organizers and the afternoon sessions (as well as the remainder of the conference) was used to help the PhD students outline their research questions and pave the way for successful completion. After the doctoral consortium, the PhD students were given time to improve their submissions and to submit them for publication in these proceedings.
