This volume represents the proceedings of the Workshop, with Posters and
Demonstrations track, of the 2nd International Workshop on Informatics &amp;
DataDriven Medicine, held in Lviv, Ukraine, in November, 2019. It comprises 33
contributed papers that were carefully peer-reviewed and selected from 67 submissions.</p>

      <p>The main purpose of the IDDM workshop is a discussion of the recent research results
in all areas of Computer Sciences in Medicine, Medical Data Retrieval, Finding the
Hidden Associations within the full set of data and Intelligent Systems Development.
The conference is soliciting literature review, survey and research papers comments
including, whilst not limited to, the following areas of interest:












      <p>Deep Learning Models in Healthcare and Biomedicine;
Machine learning approaches for Biomedical Engineering;
Artificial Neural Network for Medical Image Processing;
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics;
Information retrieval;
Information extraction;
Data mining and data analysis;
High dimensional approximation, probability, and statistical learning;
Machine learning approaches for Biomedical Engineering;
Biomedical image analysis and understanding;
Methods in natural language processing and text-mining applied to medical
records;
Methods for using ontologies for the annotation and indexing of unstructured
content as well as semantic web technologies.</p>
      <p>The language of IDDM Workshop is English.</p>
      <p>The workshop took the form of oral presentation by invited keynote speakers plus
presentations of peer-reviewed individual papers. There was also an exhibition area for
poster and demo sessions.</p>
      <p>The Organizing Committee received 67 submissions, out of which 33 were accepted
for presentation as a regular papers. These papers and extended abstracts were
published in this Volume I of IDDM 2019 proceedings.</p>
      <p>The workshop would not have been possible without the support of many people. First
of all, we would like to thank our partners Ukrainian Regional Chapter of the
International Neural Network Society, SoftServe, Sigma and Global-Logic Ukraine.
We would like to thank the General and Program Chairs, organization staff, the
members of the Technical Program Committees and external reviewers for their
excellent and tireless work. We sincerely wish that all attendees benefited scientifically
from the conference and wish them every success in their research. It is the humble
wish of the conference organizers that the professional dialogue among the researchers,
scientists, engineers and doctors continues beyond the event and that the friendships
and collaborations forged will linger and prosper for many years to come.</p>
