Practice of Enterprise Modelling 2019 Conference Forum

The working conference series Practice of Enterprise Modelling (PoEM) has for several years
contributed to the understanding of the practice of Enterprise Modelling (EM) by offering a
forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and
practitioner communities from industry and the public and/or academic sector. PoEM
addresses topics related to Enterprise modelling, such as business innovation, digital
transformation, enterprise architecture, and capability engineering.

During the PoEM 2019 conference, a forum was organized in which papers could be
presented and discussed in an interactive way. Most of the papers offered work-in-progress
reports, which focused on novel and innovative topics in the area of enterprise modelling,
ranging from smart contracts and blockchain business cases over actor focused and digital
modelling to business improvement, requirements and capability models.

This proceedings includes the seven papers presented at POEM 2019 Forum as well as a
summary of a panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence and Enterprise Modelling.
