                                     Preface

Models and Methods of Information Systems Research Workshop was held in the
frame of the Betancourt International Engineering Forum on December 11-12, 2020
at Emperor Alexander I Petersburg State Transport University, St. Petersburg,
Russia.
The objectives of the workshop were to bring together researchers interested in
different aspects of models and methods of Information Systems and computer
science to share their experience in the use of computer-based engineering research
and to strengthen links between universities and research organizations of all levels
by means of combining excellence in teaching, learning and researching.
Article selection rules.
The main indicators in the selection of articles are:

•compliance with computer science;
•relevance of the topic;
•novelty of results.
There were 34 reports at the workshop, 26 of which were selected for publication in
this volume. All the papers reviewed by independent experts and members of the
program committee.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the authors for their valuable
contribution to MMRIST2020 and to the reviewers for their opinions and very
helpful comments.
