        <p>Business Architecture is a growing and evolving discipline focused on applying architectural rigor and techniques to business challenges such as strategic execution, digital transformation, value delivery and modeling, capability-based planning, and many other business scenarios, and then providing a link to the IT systems and ecosystems that implement them. The BIZBOK® { A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge is produced by the Business Architecture Guild, an international not-for-pro t organization dedicated to improving the profession and practice of business architecture. This presentation will introduce the Business Architecture Guild, describe the essence and scope of the BIZBOK® Guide, the shared perspective of the business architecture framework, and many di erent content o erings of the Guild. Details will be provided about the overall content of the BIZBOK® Guide, calling out Value Modeling approaches, metamodels and tooling in particular, and then discuss the evolution of the Industry Reference Models as an ongoing development e ort, nishing with a discussion of other Guild program o erings, especially the Academic Program, to discuss collaboration opportunities with the Guild in terms of research, development and teaching. Short bio. Mike Rosen is a Co-founder, Director, and VP of the Business Architecture Guild. He is also Chief Scientist at Wilton Consulting Group, providing advice to IT and business leader on using architecture for business change, digital transformation and improved decision making. Prior to returning to consulting, he was Research VP for Strategic Architecture at industry analyst rm IDC. Mr. Rosen has helped dozens of enterprises create transformation strategies, improve strategic execution, or implement enterprise solutions. He has 40 years of leadership experience architecting, designing, and developing software applications and products, including roles as CTO, chief architect, product architect, technical leader, and developer. Mr. Rosen is a well-known international speaker and author of 3 books and hundreds of articles.</p>
