On the birth centenary of Roger L. Easton, we organized EASTON 100 – 5th
International Conference on Computing Sciences (ICCS 2021), was held on 31st
April 2021 and 1st May 2021. Workshop on Technological Innovations in
Education and Knowledge Dissemination is a satellite event of ICCS 2021. The
workshop was originally scheduled to take place in Goa, India, but was eventually
held online as a virtual meeting because of the COVID – 19 pandemic and
restrictions imposed by Government of India.

Technological innovations impact on teaching, learning and research. Due to the
current pandemic situation, we are forced to opt for online classes, virtual labs,
virtual conferences etc. Original research works were solicited on ICT integration
for E-learning, Authoring technology, AR/VR for teaching and learning,
Cooperative and collaborative technologies, Intelligent training, Distributed
ledger technology for education/knowledge dissemination. This workshop focuses
on discussions relating to how technological innovations are being used effectively
to improve teaching, learning and research outcomes.

We received ten papers and out of which six papers were accepted and presented
in the workshop. Initial screening was done using Turnitin Plagiarism software.
The papers were evaluated on the basis of completeness, relevance to the
workshop, originality, novelty, technical quality, structure and presentation of the
paper and adequate references to previous work. Every paper was reviewed by 3
reviewers and the review comments were shared with the authors for
incorporating the suggestions and comments.

Researchers from India, Peru, Morocco and Russia presented their research work
in the workshop. As the researchers were from different parts of the globe, the
workshop became a source of rich cultural learning environment.

We are thankful to the CEUR Workshop Proceedings (CEUR-WS.org) advisory
and management team for providing valuable guidance and for publishing this
conference proceedings. We thank all the Committee members for their valuable
inputs and time, for making this workshop very successful. We thank all the
authors and presenters for disseminating their research outcomes through this
workshop. We appreciate each and everyone involved to make this conference
meaningful.
