The iStar workshop series is dedicated to the discussion of concepts, methods, techniques, tools, and applications associated with i* and related goal modelling approaches. The objective of the workshop is to provide a unique opportunity for researchers in the area to exchange ideas, compare notes, promote interactions, and forge new collaborations. In line with the ER 2021 conference theme “Conceptual Modeling in an Age of Uncertainty”, this edition of the iStar workshop series also seeks to explore how i* may be best applied to deal with uncertainty. For example, how to reasonably model uncertainty in i*? Can i* contributes to requirements uncertainty detection? How uncertainty affects i*-based requirements analysis? Following successful workshops in Trento/Italy (2002), London/United Kingdom (2005), Recife/Brazil (2008), Hammamet/Tunisia (2010), Valencia/Spain (2013), Ottawa/Canada (2015), Beijing/China (2016), Essen/Germany (2017), Tallinn/Estonia (2018), Salvador/Brazil (2019), and Zürich/Switzerland (2020), this year, the Fourteenth International i* Workshop takes place in St. Johns (NL), Canada, on October 18, 2021. This year, the workshop runs in conjunction with the 40th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER 2021), benefiting from the common themes and interests shared by the two events. We keep an informal workshop format to promote and maximize interaction. Aiming at an inclusive and discussion-oriented workshop, the main criterion for paper acceptance in iStar'21 is relevance and potential for stimulating discussion and possible collaborations among the participants. A 39-member program committee, consisting of scholars and practitioners with expertise and interest in the field, was involved in reviewing a total of 10 complete paper submissions. Each of the papers was reviewed by three program committee members and one meta-reviewer. Since all submitted papers satisfied the paper acceptance criteria, they were all accepted for presentation in the workshop. The revised version of the papers is included in the proceedings that follow. Each paper was given 20 minutes for presentation and discussion. iStar'21 included a keynote by o. Univ.-Prof. Prof.h.c. Dr. Dimitris Karagiannis, from the University of Vienna, entitled “Conceptual Modelling Languages: Origin, Utilization and Impact”. Additionally, iStar'21 provided a panel session moderated by Prof. Eric Yu on the topic Next Generation Social Modeling - Towards a Research Agenda, in which the panelists Dr. Fabiano Dalpiaz, Prof. Daniel Amyot, Dr. Tong Li, and Prof. Raian Ali discussed a research agenda and future directions.

The organization of the i* workshop series is guided by a Steering Committee formed by:
