CBR Demos and Showcases Devi G.1 , Kyle Martin2 , and Ditty Mathew1 1 Accenture Pvt. Ltd., India 2 Robert Gordon University, UK Workshop Preface CBR is unique in terms of its ability to accommodate diverse techniques in solving complex problems. In other words, realization of the 4R (Retrieve, Re-use, Revise and Retain) steps in the classic CBR cycle could involve a variety of technologies. Providing a forum for demonstrating the CBR systems built for applied research along with a transparent discussion of the technologies used for the different stages of CBR process can foster cross-pollination by bringing together computer scientists from different ML areas to discuss innovative ideas and appreciate the strengths, challenges and opportunities for adopting a CBR methodology. This workshop has been conceived as a successor to the Computer Cooking Con- test, the CBR Video competition and the CBR Demo session that were organized in ICCBR in the past. This year, the workshop program includes four video demonstra- tions/showcases which are diverse in terms of the application domain where CBR is applied. By inviting videos, we also hope to make the recent advancements in CBR research more readily accessible to the research community. We thank all who have contributed to this workshop, especially the authors, the Program Committee, and the editors of the workshop proceedings. Program Chairs Devi G.
