The purpose of the workshop ITEA-2021 is to discuss trends in the development and application of modern information technologies in energy and agriculture, exchange of experience in implementing of innovative information technologies that increase the efficiency of resource and energy consumption, use of renewable energy sources, project management, environmental, economic and energy assessment of technologies and technics, design of computer, energy and technical systems in certain industries. The aim of the ITEA-2021 workshop is to create a basic international platform for presenting of research results and strategies discussing, and also current trends, innovative tools, discussions on the latest developments in information technologies related to energy and agro-industrial complex with attracting of the world best practices. In addition, the ITEA-2021 workshop provides development and assistance in research through the exchange of innovative ideas among members of the scientific community. Workshop provides opportunities for generating ideas and creative solutions during the analysis of ways to solve existing problems in information technology in energy and agro-industrial complex. Scientists, entrepreneurs and representatives of public associations joined the workshop. Works of applied and theoretical nature aimed at further integration of information technologies into the agro- industrial complex and energy were considered. Within the framework of the workshop two sections were organized: Modeling of modern information systems and Information systems design. 62 papers were submitted to participate in the conference. The Organizing Committee pre-selected 13 papers that were presented and discussed during the ITEA-2021 workshop. After a review of academic integrity and a scientific review, 11 papers were selected for publication. We expect that this workshop will contribute to the further development of information technology and will make links among the scientific community and agricultural and energy companies.
