ITASEC22 is the sixth edition of the Italian conference on Cybersecurity-a growing and successful conference that aims to bridge the Italian communities of scientific research, policy, industry, and society in Cybersecurity. After two years of the pandemic, the conference is back in-person. We received 58 submissions, 26 of which were published works and 32 original manuscripts. After collecting at least three reviews per paper, we accepted 42, and this volume contains the 17 original papers that have been presented at the conference. The two parallel sessions had a large audience, and the program was a huge success. Special thanks to the General Chairs, Paolo Prinetto and Leonardo Querzoni, the Chair of the Steering Committee, Rocco De Nicola, the 48 members of the Technical Program Committee, and all the people who worked on ITASEC22 and made it possible. Sadly, we will remember this edition of ITASEC for a tragic event. Camil Demetrescu, the TPC co-chair, passed away on April 15, 2022, two months before the conference. We worked together on this program until the very last day. Camil was an outstanding researcher, a teacher loved by generations of students, and a man of extraordinary kindness and humanity. We afectionately dedicate the scientific and technical program of ITASEC22 to his memory.
