Dr. Rahul Saha Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Padova, Italy Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science Engineering, Lovely Professional University, India rsahaaot@gmail.com On the birth centenary of Geoff Tootill, Advanced Computing Research Society organized Tootill 100 – 6th International Conference on Computing Sciences (ICCS 2022), was held on 22nd April 2022 to 24th April 2022. Workshop on Control and Embedded systems is a satellite event of ICCS 2022. The workshop was originally scheduled to take place in Chennai, India, but was eventually held online as a virtual meeting because of the COVID – 19 pandemic and restrictions imposed by Government of India. Workshop was attended by 34 participants. Workshop on Control and Embedded Systems is a forum for presenting new advances and research results in this field. Embedded systems are computer systems which mostly interact directly with other systems without the influence of human users. These systems often undertake monitoring, control and optimization tasks. Internet of things, sensors and computational design techniques that augment the development in this field. Papers were solicited in the following areas of research Internet of Things, Control theory and applications, Embedded systems, Sensors, Computational studies related to design and control. We received fourteen papers and out of which six papers were accepted and presented in the workshop. Initial screening was done using Turnitin Plagiarism software. The papers were evaluated on the basis of completeness, relevance to the workshop, originality, novelty, technical quality, structure and presentation of the paper and adequate references to previous work. Every paper was reviewed by 2 reviewers and the review comments were shared with the authors for incorporating the suggestions and comments. Researchers from India, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Morocco, Portugal, Czech Republic, UAE and France participated in this workshop. We are thankful to the CEUR Workshop Proceedings (CEUR-WS.org) advisory and management team for providing valuable guidance and for publishing this conference proceedings. We thank all the Committee members for their valuable inputs and time, for making this workshop very successful. We thank all the authors and presenters for disseminating their research outcomes through this workshop. We appreciate each and everyone involved to make this conference meaningful.
