15th IFIP WG 8.1 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling (PoEM) London (UK), November 2022 Forum Proceedings 1 Preface The 15th IFIP WG 8.1 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling (PoEM 2022), aimed at improving the understanding of the practice of Enterprise Modelling. The special focus in 2022 was on Enterprise Modelling and Model-based Development and Engineering. This theme reflects the importance of enterprise modelling methods, techniques and tools in developing complex solutions and systems, for example, in the context of digital transformation, implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Internet-of-Things, Big Data solutions or Information and Software Systems. PoEM 2022 took place during November 23–25, 2022, and was organized by the Middlesex University London, UK. PoEM 2022 Forum continued the tradition of previous editions as a place at the PoEM working conference of presenting and discussing new ideas, challenges, methods, techniques, and tools relevant to Enterprise Modelling. The Forum aimed to be an open platform with a high level of interactivity between presenters and participants. This was organized as a combination of a keynote, paper sessions, and discussions. PoEM Forum started with a keynote talk given by Richard Veryard on “Enterprise Modelling – Reflections on the History of an Idea”. The 11 accepted Forum papers were grouped into three topical sessions on enterprise modelling, process modelling, and model theory and case studies. Each paper presentation was followed by a discussion of the topic and its implications. In total, we received 19 submissions for the Forum. Based on three reviews by members of the Program Committee for the Forum or the main conference track, we selected 11 papers (58% acceptance rate). The 12th paper included in this volume is a summary of the keynote by Richard Veryard. Last but not least, we thank the PoEM Forum Program Committee and the PoEM 2022 organizing committee at Middlesex University London for their contributions and hard work.
