The Fachgruppe Datenbanksysteme (FGDB) is one of the Special Interest Groups of the German Computer Science Society (GI). The corresponding workshop addresses the research on databases and information systems at the LWDA 2022 conference. The focus lies on coupling machine learning and data analytics with domain-specific data management solutions, the integration of heterogenous data sources, data preprocessing under novel ethical concerns, data streaming techniques and scalable solutions for big data management.
