Preface
The Fachgruppe Datenbanksysteme (FGDB) is one of the Special Interest Groups
of the German Computer Science Society (GI). The corresponding workshop ad-
dresses the research on databases and information systems at the LWDA 2022
conference. The focus lies on coupling machine learning and data analytics
with domain-specific data management solutions, the integration of heteroge-
nous data sources, data preprocessing under novel ethical concerns, data stream-
ing techniques and scalable solutions for big data management.
