We are delighted to present the proceedings of the 8th International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Cognition (AIC 2022), held jointly with SweCog 2022, the conference of the Swedish Cognitive Science Society, at Örebro University in Sweden from June 15-17, 2022. This year, AIC 2022 had a special focus on Human-Centred AI, and we are pleased to announce that we received 37 submissions, out of which 21 papers were accepted after a rigorous peer-review process by our Program Committee. The accepted papers comprise 8 full research papers and 13 short research papers.
