      <abstract>
        <p>Interaction (HCI) combined with immersive systems, smart cities, and security awareness. The workshop is designed to facilitate collaboration among researchers, industry professionals, educators, and technologists, leveraging the intersection of these domains for mutual benefit. The topics of interest include but are not limited to the following: - immersive systems, such as virtual or extended reality and the metaverse; - co-creation, manipulation, and exploitation of (Linked) Open Data; - interactive artificial intelligence, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, large language models, and speech recognition; - security awareness in terms of cyber-security, information security, and information disorder detection and mitigation; - smart environments design to co-create smart cities, smart objects, and autonomous driving. S3C 2023 led to the presentation of six contributions from researchers and companies across Europe, highlighting the collaborative efforts to enhance learner engagement, promote security awareness, and foster intelligent solution design. These contributions underscore the ubiquitous impact of collaboration, with the potential to enhance human interaction both in physical and remote settings. All but one have been presented in person in Turin, encouraging an interesting and engaging discussion and a profitable questions-andanswers session. In one case, the presentation took place remotely. All the contributions have been published on http://ceur-ws.org, four long papers, and the remaining two short papers. Each submission was revised by at least two reviewers, for a total of nine program committee members besides the four organizers of the workshop.
