        <p>Workshop Proceedings The first edition of the International Usable Security and Privacy for Emerging Technologies (ASPIRING 2024) workshop was held as a half-day event in conjunction with the Research Challenges in Information Science (RCIS) conference. The workshop focused on research and new developments from Usable Security and Privacy (USP) relevant fields such as USP requirements, Measures and metrics for the assessment of USP design, Theoretical foundation of USP, The integration of Privacy-By-Design and Privacy-By-Default principles into HumanCentered Design approaches for USP, The impact of USP on User Experience (UX) in practice, The interplay between USP and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).</p>
