        <p>The SEPLN (http://www.sepln.org) continues its commitment to providing both the scientific community and the Industry with a platform to showcase real-world applications and ongoing research and in the field of Natural Language Processing. This year, the SEPLN 2024 Conference (http://sepln2024.infor.uva.es/) received 69 submissions for peer review, featuring insightful descriptions of research works that highlight the latest advancements in the field. Each submission was rigorously evaluated based on originality, quality, relevance, and the structure and presentation of the work. A panel of three reviewers assessed each paper, and authors were given the opportunity to refine their submissions based on detailed feedback. The 40th edition of the SEPLN (40th Conference of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing) takes place in Valladolid, Spain (http://sepln2024.infor.uva.es/). This milestone event continues to foster collaboration and innovation among scholars and professionals from around the globe, further enriching the community's contributions to the field of Natural Language Processing.</p>
