Digital Transformation – Handling socio-technical complexity through enterprise modeling - Abstract Ulf Seigerroth Jönköping University, Sweden 1 Digitalization and digital transformation have been described as one of the most disruptive forces for industry and society challenging many traditional concepts, believes and ways of conducting business. Even though that we are innovating industry and society through digitalization this is far from just a technological challenge. It has become evident, and many have realized that we need to acknowledge the social in the technical and the technical in the social and handle this complex system in a systematic and coherent way. One promising way to manage the complexity of digital transformation is to seek support in enterprise modeling where both so- cial and technical aspects of an enterprise can be handled in a systematic and coherent way.
