Message from the DOLAP 2025 Chairs
The International Workshop On Design, Optimization, Languages and Analytical Processing of
Big Data reached now its 27th edition. For DOLAP 2025 we received 25 submissions, which
included 17 full papers, 4 short papers, and for the second time, also 4 submissions for the
special Interactive Panel Session on: Federated and Distributed Data Spaces.
In the review process, all submitted papers received 3 to 4 reviews. As a result of the process,
5 papers were accepted as full papers, 7 as short papers, and 3 as panel discussion proposals for
                                the workshop.
Moreover, DOLAP 2025 hosted one invited keynote by Prof. Edward Curry on “The Symbiotic
Relationship between Data Spaces and AI”. Further, this year, the DOLAP Program Chairs
assigned the best paper award to Enrico Gallinucci, Matteo Golfarelli, Wafaa Radwan, Gabriel
Zarate, and Alberto Abelló for their paper “Impact Study of NoSQL Refactoring in SkyServer
                                Database”.
The DOLAP 2025 Chairs would like to thank the Steering Committee and the Program
Committee Members for their thorough and timely work.
