This workshop explored New Horizons in Human-Centered Learning Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education, focusing on research, design, and development practices that enhance educational systems. By aligning closely with pedagogical intentions, preferences, needs, and values, these systems aim to amplify and augment the abilities of all educational stakeholders. By examining alternative frameworks and addressing the broader implications of technology for humanity, this workshop aims to foster responsible, inclusive, value-sensitive and sustainable data-powered solutions. This way, we strive for enhanced educational experiences while respecting the agency and well-being of educators and learners, as well as our social bonds and the environment. There were 6 papers submitted for peer-review to this workshop. These papers were reviewed by at least two members from the Organising Committee. All of these papers were submitted with the intention to be included in CEUR. Four of these six CEUR papers aiming for CEUR publication were accepted for this volume as short papers. These four papers are the content of this workshop proceedings. Event Summary: The event started with a keynote from Olga Viberg. Then, four papers were presented by each corresponding author. In the second half of the workshop, we discussed crucial areas for current and future HCLA research and development: Humanity-centered learning analytics, Sustainable stakeholder involvement in designing LA data, Indigenous Knowledge on AI in learning, and Fostering Abundant Intelligence through Technology. The workshop concluded with a key message to maintain a human-centeredness principle, where learning analytics and AI can enhance our capabilities rather than replace them.
