The 1st International Workshop on Application of Immersive Technology (AIT 2025) was successfully held on March 5, 2025 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the International Information Technology University in a hybrid (offline and online) format. AIT 2025 served as a dynamic platform for exploring the latest advancements and real-world applications of immersive technologies—including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR)— across education, research, and industry.
The purpose of the workshop was to foster collaboration, spark meaningful discussions, and highlight emerging trends in immersive computing. Key focus areas included breakthroughs in AR/VR/MR technologies, applications of computer modeling and simulation, designing immersive experiences for training, healthcare, entertainment, and culture, as well as addressing technical and theoretical challenges in XR development.
The workshop received submissions in two categories: Regular papers (minimum 10 standard pages) and Short papers (5–9 pages), all prepared according to the provided EasyChair template and intended for indexing in SCOPUS, Google Scholar, and DBLP.
