      <abstract>
        <p>The International Conference on Software Business (ICSOB) addresses research on software-driven businesses from the perspectives of Software Engineering and Information Systems. For the 2025 edition, the conference included a poster and demo track that complemented the main program. In addition to on-site presentations, authors submitted extended abstracts of up to four pages. The accepted contributions explored topics such as software tools supporting digital minimalism, human-centered methods for understanding and prioritizing user needs in smart home business and service ecosystems, and the application of generative AI within user-centered design practices in software engineering. Each submission was evaluated by at least two members of the program committee, resulting in the acceptance of three posters or demos as extended abstracts. During the conference, a dedicated poster session facilitated direct interaction between attendees and authors, fostering discussion and feedback. We express our appreciation to the authors for their submissions and to the program committee for their diligent review eforts. During the preparation of this preface, we used Grammarly and ChatGPT to check spelling, grammar, and review sentence structure. Therefore, we assume full responsibility for the content in this paper.</p>
