The Workshop on Cryptology and Data Security (WCDS 2025) was organized as a thematic workshop within the International Conference “Security of Modern Information and Communication Systems (SMICS 2025)”, held on October 16-18, 2025 at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine. The workshop provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to present and discuss recent advances in cryptology, cybersecurity, data protection, and secure information systems. The workshop encourages interdisciplinary research and collaboration in the areas of cryptography, information security, secure data processing, and protection of modern communication infrastructures. The event brought together participants from academia and industry to exchange ideas, discuss new research results, and explore future directions in cybersecurity and data protection.
